Feeding Hope: Vendome’s Unique Shelter and Open Kitchen

At Vendome, a unique model shelter in San Mateo, where the kitchen is open to all needy and homeless, to come and fill their hunger with prepared food or to create a meal for themselves. There is pantry on site for cooking.

The San Mateo Public Library's food program needed supplies to support the East Palo Alto community through the winter. Peninsula Food Runners was thrilled to provide Chinese meals from the renowned Moonchef restaurant in Daly City, led by the talented Daisy Li and her dedicated team.

We serve social services agencies like Gardner Family Services, Urban Ministries, Santa Clara Catholic Workers, and Uplife Family Services.
