Our recipients include soup kitchens, shelters, low-income residences, affordable housing centers, schools, senior centers, family centers, homeless programs, and group homes. Our recipient agencies serve over 10,000 clients in need every week. Peninsula Food Runners delivers over 72,963 healthy nutritious meals weekly to agencies on a regular or rotating basis. We have over 400 organizations receiving free prepared and non-prepared food in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties. We can support many more organizations, so please contact us now!

ChowMatch is the technology engine that powers our operations, ensuring efficient and seamless food rescue. ChowMatch helps us manage our food donations, connecting surplus food with those who need it most. To receive free surplus food, please sign up on the ChowMatch application, and we will do our best to provide you with healthy meals that meet your needs.
Our only requirments are:
- Your organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
- You are educated about all food safety guidelines and follow those guidelines in serving/distributing food.
- You use the food only to serve food-insecure people in the Bay Area.
- You have a staff member onsite to receive our deliveries.
